Two and a half Men

On Friday night we drove down to the WB studios in Burbank to go see a taping of Two and a half Men. I love that show and think it is absolutely hilarious, but when you see it live and being taped, its even better!!! The only down side to it was the fact that you have to print your tickets of a month in advance, and then when you get down to the studios, you aren't guaranteed a seat in the show. We got down there almost 3 hours early, and stood in a huge line as we watched VIP after VIP after VIP walk right on in front of us, taking up almost every seat in there. Finally we were at the front of the line, next to walk in, when security told us "We are at full capacity, and only have 20 seats left, all for VIP." So after getting pissed off and freaking out a little, the security told us that if the next group of VIP guests weren't there within the next 5 min, she would let us have there seats since they were already 35 min late. So we did eventually get in, about 20 min before the show started, but we all had to sit apart from each other, since only individual seats were left. Kimmy and her mom got to sit together in the front row on the left corner, I got the front row on the right corner, and Kimmy's dad got near the back, but in the middle. We were there for about 3 hours, and I loved every second of it. And even though they had to shoot a scene over and over sometimes, I still thought the jokes were hilarious. Kimmy said she could hear me laughing over everyone else in there.

Hodad's and Green Day

On Thursday night, Kimmy and I, along with our two friends Adam and Jenn, went down to San Diego to the Viejas Arena (formerly known as Cox) to go see Green Day. Since none of us cared at all for the opening band, Franz Ferdinand, we decided to drive over to Ocean Beach to Hodad's for dinner before the show started. For those of you who have never been there or even heard about it, they seriously have the BEST burgers in the world!!!! And if you don't wanna take my word for it, go online and find the episode of Diners, Drive-in's and Dive's on Food Network with Guy Fieri when he goes there.....plus, here is a picture of my burger........

So anyways, after eating that Double Bacon Cheeseburger "heart-attack-in-a-bun", we drove over to the Viejas Arena to go see Green Day. It was such a great show! Especially because they played a lot of their older songs, not just off the new cd. They actually played for 2 1/2 hours!! How many bands play that long?! It was great. And the arena there is so big, but there are no bad seats at all, so you feel like you're really close to the stage.

Well I have decided to start up this blog. Since I hate handwriting a journal, I figured, this is the next best thing. So I will update this on a regular basis about everything that is going on, from work, school, home life, and especially our brand new baby that is on the way. So for those of you actually interested, please check back here from time to time since I will be adding photos, updates, etc.
Here's the first.....our little "pea in the pod" as Kimmy affectionately calls him/her. This is 6 weeks and 2 days. About the size of a blueberry. As of tomorrow, it will be 8 weeks exactly. We weren't able to hear the heartbeat, but were able to see it. I'm telling you, seeing that little heart beat so fast and rapid, it's a feeling that I have honestly never felt before, and will definitely never forget. Words just cannot describe it.
